Bone marrow donation technology has come a long way, and is now as simple as giving blood. So we are trying to raise awareness and get people to register at http://marrow.org to be a bone marrow donor. And why are we doing this your might ask? To help a friend a fellow crafter, Liz Decade. Liz is battling 2 different forms of acute Leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. We are hoping that this hop will help her to find a match. Even if you are not a match for Liz, you can still help her. You see bone marrow registrations drives are expensive, you have to pay for each person who is registered, and Liz is trying to raise money for bone marrow drives and medical expenses (it costs a lot of money to get a transplant). You can donate to Liz at lizquesada.leukemia@gmail.com. All of the money donated will go to bone marrow drives or medical expenses.

For this card i used bright colorful card stock.  I loved the train and hope it brings a smile to your day!  This was so simple to do, just use a basic card and add the paper, some ribbon and the colorful K&CO train!  Enjoy!

Each blogger participating in this hop is featuring a Valentine’s Day card for someone special in their life, whether it be a husband, boyfriend, child, friend, teacher, parent, etc …  Each participant is also posting a recipe for a decadent dessert that you might want to make for someone sweet in your life!

Chocolate Hello Dollies

This is a bar cookie.  This makes 48 bars

1 pkg devils food cake mix with pudding

1 stick butter at room temperature cut into 8 pieces

1 cup butterscotch chips

1 cup semisweet chips

1 cup sweetened flaked coconut

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350.  Grease 15-10 inch jell-roll pan.

Place cake mix and butter in bowl. Mix the butter and cake mix together with pastry

blender until mixture is crumbly.  Sprinkle mixture over bottom of pan and press with

fingertips to form a crust.  Sprinkle butterscotch chips evenly, chocolate chips, coconut

and nuts.  Pour the condensed milk evenly over the top and put into the oven.

Bake until lightly browned about 25 to 30 mins. Remove and cool about 30 mins.

Cut into bars.  Enjoy!

I used the K&Co pad to make this cute mail box and cut it with the cricut Love Struck

Cartridge.  I added a flower but left this really simple!
